About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learning to live with paradoxes

ABOUT ME

I'm open, energetic and sociable, but I think I get my energy from spending time on my own every once in a while. I'm open-minded and I accept people for what they are. Not fussy at all, seldom complain, and like to laze around with a book in my free time. A friend calls me "Never a dull moment"
I have lived in 5 countries and have pretty much managed to squeeze in a couple of lifetimes into one. Now I enjoy the stability and live the moment on the little island of Gozo

PHILOSOPHY

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meet new amazing people

Interests

I teach belly dance, and love to dance myself. I love yoga, quiet moments of contemplation, and visiting spiritual places of power. For me, it's often related to Black Madonnas and the divine feminine. I'm mystically oriented, and like to learn about the mystical core of every tradition, so I end up finding obscure places and unbelievable people wherever I go.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Jitterbug Perfume, The Alchemist, The Scapegoat, 40 Rules of Love, and a dozen more I can't remember.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quite a lot comes to mind. Hitchhiking in Israel when the last bus from the Dead Sea had left and I got picked up by two religious guys who wanted go to the beach :)))... being stuck on a train from Sicily at +47 C with no aircon... living in New Orleans for a year... living on a beach in Samoa... But ultimately, it's leaving everything behind and starting life from scratch — a couple of times, actually. I have managed to squeeze in quite a few lifetimes into one, and only regret I haven't done more
