I love travelling and meeting new people. Especially travels where the travel itself is an important part of the experience just as the destination. I've been hitchhiking, couchsurfing, interrailing, volunteering, hiking, biking and tenting around. So I feel like couchsurfing is very much supporting my travel needs and dreams.

I work as a high school teacher on the island Mors, where I teach German and Latin. Beside this job I conduct a choir with 45 lovely singers. I love being in the position where I can teach my passion and create beautiful moments where people are together.

The summer of 2025 I thru-hiked 486 miles on the Colorado Trail. This was truly the hike of my life ❤️

I've been volunteering in Africa twice and it was absolutely amazing. Living and working with locals taught me so much. Since my profession is teaching it was an enriching experience to teach students in another culture. One thing I've learned from my students is that a good teacher is a passionate and caring person with sincere interest in her students. And I think that description is not bounded to a single country or culture.
