About Me

⚠️ We live in Eerbeek: a small town between Arnhem and Apeldoorn.

No need to send me personalized requests. Copy/pasting is just fine!

If I accept to host you, I kindly ask you to check out the folder 'Couch Photos' for some general info. 😊

🔝 NO to dating.
🔝 YES to hanging out. 🥳

My job is singing, mainly backing vocals for Dutch artists. Back home I sing in English, Dutch and German. I sing both live and studio and am also a vocal arranger. 🎤

My girlfriend Noor (https://couchsurfing.page.link/e6tUxgdnG6gc2NeA6) is a sound engineer, so you could say that we work really well together. 😂🎚️

Noor and I are christians. ⛪

People who know me, know my big love for food. I wanna try everything and if anything makes me happy it's eating all day long! 🍔
I like to just chat with a drink, or go outside for a walk through nature. 🏞

I'm Dutch, so I'm gonna dip my tea bag in hot water twice and call it tea. Then reuse the same tea bag 10 times. 🐸😋

In my free time I like to watch birds with my binoculars 🤓 or be creative. I like to draw, paint, model (clay).

I looooove to travel and discover new places. 🌇 Roadtrips, hitchhiking, backpacking, as long as I'm exploring the world! Happy to go anywhere. 🌍

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's the best and most fun way to get to know other cultures and travelers! I prefer to discover/show the non-tourist part of a/my country. Some of my favorite experiences are made with couchsurfers. Things happen that otherwise would never. 🤗

Also I love to meet new people and share our stories and views on things. I think people are the best inventions and we can always learn from one another.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To me the best things I've done are when I could travel freely. By myself or with friends. Hitchhiking, not having real plans or schedules, just exploring, meeting new people, new places, new cultures. Discovering we can learn so much from anyone.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm Dutch and love food, so here comes a list of Dutch food you should try.

Deep fried:

Sweet snacks (have them with tea/coffee):
- stroopwafels (put it on top of the hot mug so the syrup melts)

What I Can Share with Hosts

A clean, polite and hopefully fun guest! Also - I write the longest references that I usually have to shorten because they don't fit haha!

Noor is very chilled, down to earth, likes to hang out and chat, but also likes being on her own. She is clean and tidy, curious about other people and cultures, excited about learning new things and eager to grow.

Just like me she likes to try all kinds of food 🍔, loves to be in nature 🌴, discover cute (medieval) towns with nice castles 🏰, and prefers to sleep at night rather than going out and party.
