ABOUT ME

Am a typical Frisian, from the coast in the North-west of Germany, very close to the Dutch border. People make jokes about us... Travelled a lot and worked in and with Bangladesh for many years, now in Brussels and enjoying the relaxed and multicultural atmosphere here.

I registered one year ago but start my couchsurfing life only now in August 2013.

Interests

To meet people and to learn about their lifes. To learn about culture, politics, history of different countries. I like big cities and sometimes country side especially the sea.
I like reading books and newspapers, nice cafes, walking around in cities, swimming...

Music, Movies, and Books

I love books and bookshops. Especially I like books from different places around the I like as Italy, France, New York and places and regions I am working with or travelling to... The life stories of people or the history.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing is probably my 21 years work with Bangladesh. So many nice experiences with the wonderful people of Bangladesh. We have achieved so much together for dignity and social justice.
