I like to meet new people, exchange stories and host whenever possible it's always been a great source of bonding and cultural exchange and we always learn something new!

Movies: Amores Perros, anything by Tim Burton or Michel Gondry, Casi Divas, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Freedom Writers, Cidade de Deus, No, Machuca, Favela Rising, Do The Right Thing, Pulp Fiction, Le Fabuleux Destin du Amélie Poulain, Run Lola Run, The Departed, Anything directed by Pedro Almódovar, Martin Scorsese, or starring Gael Garcia Bernal/Samuel L. Jackson/Robert De Niro/James Franco. I also enjoy watching films from countries outside of the Americas (Bollywood, Hayao Miyazaki, Emir Kusturica, etc), and of course STAR WARS.

I'm terrified of heights and consider it a big deal whenever I go trekking or go up something tall and don't die or cause other people to trip/fall due to my vertigo-induced clumsiness.

I enjoy cooking and always want to share food :)

I like learning recipes from people of different cultures even though it's sometimes hard for me because I've been a vegetarian for years now.
