ABOUT ME

I studied Literature and Cinema in Paris so that I may be able to write screenplays someday. I also volunteered on different amateur movie sets and in movie festival and I was part of a amateur theatrical group for almost ten years. Wanting to live different experiences, I went far from Paris, though still in France and lived in the south of France, near Montpellier, in order to work in a birds and wildlife rescue center for 9 months. Now, I moved to Ireland (Co. Leitrim) since February the 13th 2017 to work for an environmental NGO. I will stay there for at least a year. I am a vegan, meaning I try to live my life without harming other beings. Of course, that is not entirely possible all the time but I think that this is a nice path to follow. In order to do so, I do not buy anything that comes from animal exploitation and I try to have an ecological way of life.

J'ai étudié la Littérature et le Cinéma à Paris pour être un jour à même d'écrire des scenarii. J'ai aussi aidé sur différents tournages amateurs et dans un festival de cinéma itinérant. J'ai aussi fait partie d'une troupe de théâtre amateur pendant presque dix ans. Mais j'ai voulu vivre d'autres aventures et je suis partie à l'autre bout de la France pour travailler dans un centre d'accueil et de soins d'oiseaux et de la faune sauvage de l'Hérault, châpoté par la LPO (Ligue Protectrice des Oiseaux), pendant 9 mois. Je vis maintenant en Irlande, depuis le 13 février 2017, et je travaille pour une ONG de protection de l'environnement. Je compte rester en Irlande au moins un an. Je suis végane, ce qui veut simplement dire que j'essais de vivre ma vie sans trop impacter celle des autres. Je ne prétend pas que cela soit tout le temps possible mais je trouve que c'est une bonne philosophie de vie. Dans cette optique, je ne consomme rien qui provient de l'exploitation animale et j'essaie d'avoir un mode de vie le plus écologique possible.

I participate as a traveller for now. I am woofing on a farm in South Wales so it's not really up to me to host or not... I'd love to hang out though =)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, I registered on this website some years ago but never really took the time to meet people thanks to it : I just started to take a real interest in it and this is great. So, if you just want to meet up to chat, have a drink, take a walk... That's fine too =)

Interests

I love to walk without a clear direction for hours and to take pictures. I love to meet new people and to share moments with them. I also love to meet up with my friends and to talk about anything. I love to share conversations, walks, drinks, a song or a meal. I love to cook for myself and for others. I love to discover new things and, for all those reasons, I love to travel and to meet people who love it too.

J'aime marcher au hasard pendant des heures et prendre des photographies, j'aime rencontrer de nouvelles personnes et partager des moments avec elles, tout comme j'aime que l'on se réunisse entre amis pour parler de tout et de rien. J'aime partager des conversations, des promenades, des verres, un morceau de musique ou un repas. J'aime cuisiner pour moi comme pour les autres. J'aime découvrir sans cesse de nouvelles choses et, pour tout cela, j'aime voyager et rencontrer des gens qui en font autant.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movie : "Once", by John Carney ; because it gathers together my two favorite film genres : musicals and "social films" (I don't know if the expression stands in english, since in french we say "film social"...).
I also love "The broken circle breakdown", by Felix Van Groeningen ; "I am a cyborg", by Park Chan-wook ; "Whispers of a heart", by Yoshifumi Kondo.

I love music, and almost any genre, but if I had to enumerate some artists or bands :

Forgetting I have vertigo and follow a friend on roofs of Paris at four in the morning while it rained to save her cat.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't know a lot of things but if I can share something, anything, with the people I meet, I'd be very glad to.
I know how to cook some vegan meals and deserts, I know how to play some tunes on the guitar, I know how to cure some animals, I know how to dance the waltz...
I'd love to learn anything really, there is so much to learn that I cannot be specific in the subject.
