I'm trying to get back to my attitude from my younger days - traveling solo, meeting up with new people, experience something new. How did one do that, again?

Update 2022: I've been on CS almost since the beginning, but haven't really used it for many years.

I'll be available to host in Oslo, Norway occasionally, and I'm planning for a month-long interrail trip through The Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain and Portugal this summer.

Sine I was a teenager, I've had people staying at my place, through sites like Hospitalityclub and Couchsurfing, AirBnB or just hosting people I've met other ways. I like the thought and experiences I've gotten through different forms for "alternative" travelling. Having unknown people to my place, staying at unnknown peoples places, hitch hiking, talking my self in to free boattrips and hotel nights (true story!).

As an historian and former museum guide, I might be able to tell you things you didn't know about how things came to be. And maybe you'll need some tricks of the trade from organizations and unions? I'm a decent cook and drink mixer, and I might be able to tell you a lot about that great Norwegian indie rock band you saw at that festival in the woods that time five years ago, because I might know them.
