Overview
About Me
I am Iniyan a reporter who is dearly in love with his profession. I work for a leading english daily in the state of Tamil Nadu. It was travelling and conversations that happened in it over the years made me a reporter and a reasonable human. I am interested in anything and everything as Marx beautifully states ‘Nothing human is alien to me’ applies to myself. I am very interested in people and their beliefs. I am a firm believer in the concept of creating a dialogue and opposed to the so called ‘cancel culture’. There is so much goodness in all of us and too little we have discovered.
I have travelled to 10 states and Nepal so far. When I travel I try to connect myself with the locality. In my travels I am fascinated by beauty and truth of new locality; many times they are one and the same. It is my another belief that learning of simple things in journeys can add unbelievable richness in life.
I have reported from various states of India including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Assam and Kerala. In Tamil Nadu I have done rural reporting for the past two years. Agriculture, Labour and International affairs fascinates me.
I can be an extreme workaholic and a terrible sloth bear depending upon the circumstances. I don’t read much but the books I read I read them deeply. I love to hear stories and passionate to put out my thoughts for debate and corrections.
Simple lovely gestures can move me deeply.
