Hi, my name is Inka and I've been traveling around Europe for several months, before that I lived in Malta for 1.5 years, I work remotely and I try to live modestly so that I can travel. I love exploring new places, climbing, diving and trekking in the mountains. I've been learning Spanish recently.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was on vacation in Malta in February 2021, and when I was leaving, I met a boy at the airport who works there as a chemist. I am also a chemist, but I have not been working in my profession for 6 years, now I have a company that deals with sign language translations. I suggested that we exchange phone numbers and that he let me know if there were any new job offers, although I don't know why because I wasn't planning to move out of Poland. After a month, he wrote that there was a job offer on fb, so I jokingly wrote a CV in English and sent it. Two months later, I got an invitation for an interview. I thought that I will not go abroad because I have a company in Poland, but the first job interview in English will be an interesting experience 🙂 it was Monday, after this meeting they invited me for a second interview on Wednesday. And again they wrote that they invite me for the last interview on Friday. I was in shock! On Friday I got a reply that they invited me to work. I had 3 days to decide whether I was going or not and 1.5 months to hire someone to run the company and figure out how to take my two lovely cats with me🐱🐱. I bought plane tickets for the three of us, found an apartment and flew to Malta. I stayed there for 1.5 years and then left to travel around Europe :)
