I've always been interested in learning foreign languages. When a teenager I've got a chance to go the United States as an exchange student and spend almost a year with my host family attending high school and practising my English.
When came back to my native city I studied English and French (not very fluent in the last one, though).

I haven't had an opportunity to travel much in the past but I've always wanted to be able to talk to different people in their native language.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

About couple of years ago I was reading much about hitch-hiking, travelling etc. Someday a link got me here on Couchserfing.
I'm not much of a traveller, neither a host yet. But you never know when it all starts for you.
I guess it's just another opportunity for me to start seeking new people in the places I go.
