Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was born and lived in Russia. My Couchsurfing experience started still there. It was not an extensive, but very impressive experience. It was a two-way experience - I met guests at my place in Yaroslavl, and traveled, stopping to stay with other people in different countries. For the first time I discovered the world of couchsurfing in Paris. I am very grateful to my first host, my dear Francoise, for cordiality and hospitality. This allowed me to believe that there really are open and welcoming people who are not afraid to open their home doors to strangers and invite them to be guests. For me it was a discovery!
2 years ago I moved to live in East Germany. My husband and I live in a small cozy house, almost in the forest. Here you feel at quite and calm surrounded by nature. The nearest town, Mittweida, is very close - 7 minutes by car. But our garden is another world - deer and squirrels, hares and foxes are frequent guests here. And from March to mid-summer we do not need to attend any concerts - from early morning until sunset we enjoy the incredible music of the bird orchestra. And we invite guests to our welcoming home here in Germany. In addition, we ourselves also want to travel, and investigate new countries and cultures as tourists. However, meeting local people and getting into real life in every country, like the locals, is even more interesting. Hotels in each country are almost identical. But to live a few days in a real house and a family of local residents - this is the real impression of a trip to a new country. Therefore, we will be grateful for your hospitality. See you soon!

Interests

I love to travel (in faraway lands and in the nearby forest for mushrooms), acquainted with new cultures and people, lead an active lifestyle. love my friends and my pets (and animals at all). I love to cook, bake. I love music, and sing songs.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to read. "Master and Margarita" by Bulgakov, for example. I love Russian classics - Gogol, Tolstoy, Dostoyevsky, Pushkin. I love the lyrics. But read with pleasure and fantasy. "Lord of the Rings," "Harry Potter" with admiration read together with my daughter when she was younger. Antoine de Saint Exupery "The Little Prince" with pleasure reread at different ages. I adore this book. And, of course, "Pollyanna" by Eleanor Porter and "Dandelion Wine" by Ray Bradbury - in my opinion - the best books that will forever penetrate into the soul. And not just for children. Read and you'll understand - why.
The favorite music: Classical music out of the competition.
