ABOUT ME

Basically, I find every excuse I can to leave the US - work, research, study, romance or otherwise. Not that I'm not a loyal uhmerican - I can be, at least, at times - but I uphold religiously the famous words of Imam Shafi'i:

"Inni ra'aitu wuqoof il-ma'i yufsiduhu...in saaHa Taaba wa in lam yajri lam yaTibi"

(Indeed I have seen still water spoiled...when running it is sweet but when stagnant it is bitter)
