ABOUT ME

Hello, I like travelling and am a rather frequent traveller. I have tried couchsurfing once before in Estonia and it was a great experience..I've been to Australia, Asia, America and Europe, but not to Africa yet. I graduated with a B.A (Hons) in Linguistics. What else? Gosh, I wish I can just import my facebook profile. Well feel free to drop me a note! =)

PHILOSOPHY

Politics: Socially liberal, fiscally conservative.Religion: Agnostic (i.e. neither believes nor disbelieves there is a God/gods)L'homme n'est ni ange ni bête; et le malheur veut que qui veut faire l'ange fait la bête. ~Blaise PascalAh, but a man's reach should exceed his grasp/Or what's a heaven for? ~Robert Browning

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed in Estonia.

Interests

I like reading, but lately my tastes have turned to the non-fiction genre. From astro/quantum physics to economics to history, my area of interest is quite broad.I'm also well up-to-date on most current affairs.

Music, Movies, and Books

I quite like the works by Umberto Eco - his novels such as Il nome della rosa (the Name of the Rose) and Il pendolo di Foucault (Foucault's Pendulum) tend to pull references from multiple language, genre and domain in a truly po-mo [postmodernist] fashion.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked to the bottom of Grand Canyon and touched the Colorado River.Well, it says one but another amazing thing is surviving 2 weeks in India (twice!) and going right to the foot of the Himalayas in Kashmir.

Teach, Learn, Share

I guess I can share the culture of Singapore.Oh, I'm quite good with techy stuff too.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, China, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, Germany, India, Indonesia, Israel, Jordan, Latvia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Norway, Palestine, Qatar, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United States, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In
