ABOUT ME

I'm a Finnish guy who loves travelling and to meet new people all over the world and learn about their culture and lifestyle (I know, it's a cliche but it's true!). I used to study geography in university and now I'm working. I'm funny (I hope!), open-minded and calm person. I might seem shy sometimes but that is because I'm an introvert which means that I'm not the first person to start the conversation usually. This especially happens when I'm visiting a new place, at home I feel comfortable. I like people who are talkative and social because they make me feel more open. If I'm being quiet don't think I want to be alone or I'm feeling shy, I just need help to start the conversation! :)

And I think I'm very stereotypical Finn when it comes to personality. Google "Finnish mentality" and you will know what I mean :) (but basically it means I'm always on time and I keep my promises).
I like to talk about everything, no taboos. Doing something together with new people is always nice and great way to get know each other! I love to show people what Helsinki and Finland has to offer!

I try to collect World Heritage Sites' so don't be surprised if I want to see some place you might not be excited about. Shopping is not my thing but walking around markets sometimes is nice.

Eating local food (or any food actually) is nice! I like going to cafés and bars and have a nice chat there. Who knows, maybe I could go to a club too, but I'm getting too old to do that ;)
My place is gay/LGBT friendly because I am one, too! :) If that is a problem, I'm not the person for you to host or meet.

I'm here to meet new people from all around the world! I joined CS back in 2010 and over the years I have met so many great people through this and made some long-time friends :)

Books: I'm not that fond of reading anymore but I enjoyed reading books like Harry Potters, Lord of The Rings and The Egyptian (by Mika Waltari, amazing underrated novel!) when I was younger.
