to see as much of the world as possible .

ABOUT ME

I am a young/ older person, so out to see the world will be travelling from Jan 1 2012 home again on the April 2 ,2012  Im fit and healthy. I  hike , camp ,kayak , read ,hammock time is important and have just finished a two year fine arts  stint and am going for a travel break next semester .really enjoy other travelers thus the hostel occupation back home on beautiful Quadra Island.

PHILOSOPHY

to leave as little imprint as possible in nature, respect our earth ,share what you have with others who have less ,and to try to be a really good person .

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

brand new at this but take in many woofers and have many travelers through my home in canada , I get a long well with people , and am eager to experience couch surfing I love the concept .

Interests

some of the things I like to do - kayaking, camping , hiking ,reading , most anything to do with outdoors ] , landscaping, I live on the oceon and always lots of on going projects- boating ,gathering seaweed , organic gardening beachcombing and photography and being an active part of my grown up childrens lives and right now its traveling .

Music, Movies, and Books

very eclectric mix of music from classic, reggae to blues, books same- but do like non fiction , Ayn rand[ atlas shrugged ]biggest impression movies subtitles seem most interesting to me these days [foreign films ]travel books etc..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

. Iv'e Raised two great kids -my real claim to fame, I love having grown up children who like to travel as well .Ive been to many countries and have walked the Camino trail in Spain took five weeks ,an experience everyone should have .

I have lots of stories about hosteling and running a hostel and living and raising my family on our beautiful west coast of Canada,What do I want to learn ,well ...- there is so much, and everyone has a story . always eager to listen and to help out where ever I go .
