ABOUT ME

Hello, my Name is Insa. I am 25 years and I am studing protestant Theology in Leipzig.
I grew up in Kiel, a town in northern Germany.
After finishing High School and passing my final Exams I came to India for an one-year volunteer Service. So from August 2012 to August 2013 I lived nearby Mangalore (Karnataka, India).
There I did social work in the "Seon Ashram Trust". This Seon Ashram provides accommodation, food and medicine to different needy people. The Seon Ashram takes homeless women and men (380 inhabitants at the moment). Most of them have a psychological or physical handicap and were left by their families. There are living old age people, handicapped children and orphans as well.

Since then I have been travelling through India two more times. Now and then I do jorneys to europeen countrys, especially I prefer outdoor-tour, as hiking or camping.

In Leipzig I am enjoying my student-Life, living in a shared-flat, meeting friends in the evening, biking to one of the wonderful lakes around.

I am very convinced by the idea to host or meet people of different cities, countries and even continents, its a good way to make intercultural experiences and get a glim of other cultures and lifestyles.
