ABOUT ME
Hello! I've spent the majority of my life traveling from country to country, moving into new homes, starting new schools and making new friends because of my father's work. It's taken me a while to get here, but I've spent the last year either: 1)living, working and teaching children on a farm in Northern California, 2)working alongside teenagers in conservation-based project in Costa Rica or 3)traveling. Oh, and I've recently relocated to the west coast and just bought my 1st car; very exciting.
PHILOSOPHY
This is it. Make it happen.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've kind of been on the move the last 2 years. Last fall i traveled up through Central America (Panama, Costa Rica, Nica, Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico) for almost 2 months. As soon as I'm settled and living someplace that has a couch (ie not a farm) I will gladly host.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I would almost say i've spent a good portion of my life visiting/living in different countries. As a child traveling (we were a family of 5) i have countless memories of coming back to visit a relative in peru or forgotten family friend in california and having all of us camping out in every spare inch (beds, couches, floors) of their home. That said, in turn i can't name the number of times we've had guests visitin us for weeks at a time (especially when we lived in rome) where i would be bumped from my comfy bed and onto our family couch. So i guess i might say i have some experience being a guest and hosting guests.

Music, Movies, and Books
I've gone through one too many stages in books, but i still enjoy reading short stories by foreign writers and for some reason i hold old folk tales and lore close to my heart.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think it's hard to pinpoint. Every part of earth, people, experiences, cultures, relationships, food, have shaped me. It happens every day, when i'm least expecting it.
