About Me

I'm a very positive and outgoing person and I have a passion for traveling and learning new things. I'm currently living the life I've wanted since I was a kid: traveling to new places all the time. I've grown up in beach towns my whole life, so I have a strong connection with the ocean and nature as a whole. All in all, I live life one day at a time and with the mindset that everything happens for a reason and you can learn from everyone and everything around you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet likeminded people along my travels and experience new places from a locals perspective.

Interests

I've been in musicals, plays, improv
shows and choral performances my whole life, so I love being around people and putting on a show. I love spending time in the sun and at the beach, going snorkeling, and scuba diving. Camping with my dog, Lizzie, is another interest of mine, but then again, dogs are just a love of mine in general.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of music, but I find myself listening to reggae, classic rock and folk rock more than anything else. Sublime and Paul Simon are two of my favorites.
I like funny movies, old movies, movies with interesting animation and documentaries.
My favorite books so far are 1984, Stardust, The Giver and The Great Gatsby.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Road tripped across the South African coast! Where I was blessed enough to cage dive with great white sharks, bungee jump off the highest bungee bridge, explore the Transkei, and surf (both waves and couches) in Cape Town!

What I Can Share with Hosts

A positive experience of sharing culture, ideas and hopefully good beer.
