About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To figure out what my mission is.

ABOUT ME

I am a writer first and foremost, then I'm an artist. I take a notebook, journal, and pens with me everywhere I go, as well as a book but for different reasons haha.

I've been traveling since I was a young child and I've always been fascinated with other cultures and histories. I want to travel the world, I want to go everywhere and see everything. I've never traveled using Couchsurfing but I plan on rectifying that come March! I had a neighbor while I was living in Oman who would always have surfers coming in and out of his apartment, and it was so interesting listening to their stories.

I'm a pretty laid back person, I don't let much of anything get to me, I prefer to just live my life. I don't carry regrets with me, life is a journey, mistakes are hurdles and regrets are quicksand.

I prefer to see the good in everything, I like to laugh and I'm pretty good providing laughs, if I do say so myself. I'm also an awesome travel companion and very much enjoy making stupid word smileys xD

PHILOSOPHY

Something my sisters and I do is we laugh. No matter what kind of situation it is, where no sane person would be able to find anything funny, we manage to do so, we crack jokes and we laugh and laugh hahahahaha see like that, lol It keeps us from going completely insane.

Don't take life to seriously, it's not like you make it out alive anyways.

Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none.
-William Shakespeare

I also firmly believe that no matter how bad things can get, it can only get better from there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've met up for juice, I've had three people stay with me. It was a lot of fun, we had some incredible interesting conversations!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met my share of couchsurfers, from letting them stay at my place, to just meeting for drinks. It's a lot of fun to meet travelers and swap stories, learn new things, you develop a bond that is pretty sweet.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love, all sorts of music, my playlist ranges from literally all genres and have no preference to what's 'current' lol. My favorite band is Imagine Dragons, because they inspire me. Then there's Lifehouse and Awolnation, Every Avenue, Of men and Monsters, Eminem, and the All American Rejects. I love The Fray and Colbie Cailot, most of Green Day, Good Charlotte, Johnny Cash, disney songs...the list goes way on.
Movies that are funny, sad, action, scary, romantic, and not boring cut it for me.

Books... I'm an avid book reader and I love far to many to put them in a list. But anything by John Grisham, Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child. I just finished reading The Count of Monte Cristo and By the River Piedra I sat down and wept, they were very different from each other, but extremely interesting and thought provoking.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing that I've seen, I was on this sea plane flying from St. Croix to Puerto Rico and I saw where the salt water and the fresh water met. It was this light and dark line meeting, it was amazing.

Snorkeling in the Caribbean, the water is so clear and beautiful, it's absolutely breath-taking.

Watching how fast my younger brother and sister have grown up, it's amazing, one minute they're little babies and the next they're as tall as me.

Teach, Learn, Share

This is kind of like South Harmon Institute of Technology, or S.H.I.T hahahaha high fist bump to anyone who knows the reference ;P

I don't know if I've done enough to pass as a giver of knowledge. But from my experiences, things get bad, but they also get good. I truly believe that if you are a nice, happy, positive person, more options are out there for you. People are more willing to help people who make them smile or laugh, or feel good.
