Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see the world and contribute to making it a better place.
ABOUT ME
I currently live in Denver, Colorado. Prior to this, I taught in Pueblo Pintado, New Mexico on the Navajo Reservation, and have recently begun a new chapter in the city, teaching primarily underserved communities in southwest Denver.
I love folk music and frequently attend the Winnipeg Folk Festival. I also write poetry, hike, mountain bike, do photography, smell books, and smile at flowers and people I don't know. I'm looking for adventure, and recently travelled to Iceland.
This account may be used by both myself and my girlfriend, Hannah, who has a background in massage therapy and herbal medicine, who will also be attending graduate school for Social Work in the fall. We will be traveling together and are responsible, positive, open-minded, clean, interesting, and have a lot to offer.
PHILOSOPHY
The love and connection of the universe; recognizing the divine in everyone.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've participated in the Couchsurfing project by hosting couchsurfers! Currently I'm living with two other teachers and a grad student, and with the business of all of our lives, am unable to host at the present moment, but if my living circumstances change, I look forward to hosting surfers in the future, and hopefully being a good guest as I will soon return the favor.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far, I've acted as a host to a small number of people in my home when I lived in Pueblo Pintado New Mexico on the Navajo reservation. I've had good experiences, and look forward to continue many more!
