Haven't so much! My participation is limited to interest and telling other people about this awesome thing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Once I was hanging out with my friend Terrence (who is a big fan of Couchsurfing) after he played a great acoustic set. It was late and he let me couch surf... on an air mattress!

Interests

I like making videogames and writing songs, jamming with weird instruments and going on hikes. Riding bikes. Seeing bands. Sharing strange and delicious fooods.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite bands are Sonic Youth, Hole, Neutral Milk Hotel, Little Claw, Wavves, Black Lips, Nirvana, Noe Venable and Lana Del Rey.

Books: I like Kurt Vonnegut, Naomi Klein, I love to read nonfiction and books about psychology. I also like Thomas Pynchon.

Movies. I'm not really a movie buff but I've really enjoyed: Synecdoche, NY; Benjamin Button, Scott Pilgrim, It Might Get Loud, Not Bad for a Girl (a really cool documentary about the Riot Grrrl movement and those who inspired it). Lord of the Rings

Videogames: I've been obsessed with Mario games since I was a kid. I've played all the 2D ones to death. My favorite game is Yoshi's Island. I'm playing Earthbound for the first time and loving it. I have a weird aversion to 3D games.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Waking up in Wyoming on a long road trip to Seattle with my friend L and my brother A. It was just after sunrise and everything was a dark shade of blue.

Can I have another? Playing my first show live when I had a band was the best experience of my life. I can't wait to have a band again.

I've been amassing a lot of knowledge about meditation and its practice over the past year.

I can paint!

I know a lot about different plants, and I'll share it if we go on a hike or on a walk in the forest.
