I love to meet people of different cultures. As a host or as a guest. Although I can only host in low season and I am not very often at home. But give it a try.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am a die hard traveler. Always nice to be able to stay with local people as I don't like hotels and as I like to know a country by spending time with local people.

These days I am absolute hooked on Haruki Murakami, which is my Master In Rhythm (I am a writer myself and he teaches me how to transform Jazz into Literature). I have read all his novels and I am reading all of them again, in 4 languages, my native tongue not included ;-) These days I also read a lot about ancient civilisations (Incas, Mayas, Aztecs, etc), Anthropology & Ethnology. Also enjoying a lot of theatre: Pinter. Albee. Ionesco. Ibsen. I studied literature and Books are what I am truly addicted to. But also truckload of unknown authors: Frédéric Beigbeider. Brina Svitt. Johan Anthierens. Tom Lanoye. Kees Van Kooten. If we happen to meet I'll complete this list cause it goes On & On... Sartre. Camus. Baudelaire. Genet. Allan Poe...

I am a good cook and can teach people how to cook some Belgian and Brazilian dishes. I always travel with many films that I am happy to share. I speak a couple of languages and don't mind helping people out practising a language they need to improve in.
