About Me
CURRENT MISSION
sorting out plan B
ABOUT ME
Male, happily married family member of a family with two kids (8&12 years). I´m an electrical engineer, who doesn´t engineer that much anymore.
I´m easy going, relaxed and fun loving. I´m a very optimistic person and it will take a lot to get my angry or unhappy.
I haven´t found any outdoor activity I didn´t like yet. I take out my bike as often as possible and I try to leave the car where it is, if possible.
I play the accordion and the guitar from time to time. And I love to try any new instrument I get in my hands.
At the moment my biggest passion is photography as I think that this might be my plan B for a later second career. We will see. If not it will stay a hobby.
I love to cook and eat the fresh grown veggies from my own garden.
I was born and raised in the same city in which I live now, but I LOVE to travel, not that I don´t like my home town, but seeing new places and meeting interesting people and cultures all around the world is just great.
PHILOSOPHY
Take it easy, there´s always a solution to every problem.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Not sure yet, as I just have started. But I already have an idea. There is an cycling path going along a river just in front of my house. What if I can make Couch surfers aware of this fantastic possibility to couch surf and bike at the same time?
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Already made- It was terrific.
Interests
I´m interested in all kinds of art, music and photography. I love to read to myself and to others.
I play accordion and the guitar, although not very frequently.
Music, Movies, and Books
Lots of them.
Currently I´m reading another Murakami-book.
Music wise I love handmade music but fancy electronic music as well. The genre doesn´t really matter.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I´v e seen the great wall, I´ve seen the death valley and the grand canyon and I´ve seen St. Petersburg, Mt. Fuji and the scandinavian forest but the things I remember more vividly is the hospitality I´ve experienced at all these places.
