ABOUT ME

Hey, I am a current Phd student in Geotechnical Engineering in NC state University.

I grew up in Fuzhou, southern China. When I was 19, I went to Shanghai for my college study and spent the following 8 years there getting my Bachelor and Master degrees in civil engineering. My first travl alone was in 2007, to Nepal, which makes me decide to start my long journey around the world. 2008, I went to Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. 2009 I arrived in the States. Though I am now working on my Phd degree here,I see it as part of my journey. To be honest, it is not academic motivation drives me to travel millions miles away from my home but a chance to get to know different people and cultures.
