About Me
Hi! I'm originally from Bangladesh and currently living in Palermo, Italy, where I’m studying Migration Rights and Integration. I have a background in economics and have worked on the ground with refugees in the Rohingya camps and volunteered with the Red Cross. I believe in cultural exchange, human dignity, and the power of storytelling. I'm a calm, respectful, and curious traveler who loves meaningful conversations over food, learning about local life, and sharing my own culture in return.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to meet people from different backgrounds, listen to their stories, and experience cultures from the inside. I’m also a student, so traveling on a budget while building friendships around the world is a perfect combination!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share stories about life in Bangladesh, experiences from the refugee camps, and insights into migration in Europe. I can cook simple Bangladeshi meals and teach you how to eat with your hands if you're curious! I’m also happy to help with English or offer cultural mediation insights, as I’ve practiced in role-plays and fieldwork. You’ll find me respectful, tidy, and grateful — I’ll contribute however I can.
