About Me

Hello! I am Chris and I will be starting graduate school at the University of Texas and will be getting a master in Public Policy. My policy area of interest is, homelessness, hunger and poverty. I spend time most weekends volunteering with Food, Not Bombs here in Austin and you are more than welcome to come cook and serve with us if you are here when it is happening!

Outside of that, I really enjoy playing sports. My favorites are Ultimate, Soccer (futbol), and racquetball, but I will play just about anything but baseball and golf (too slowwwww). I also play computer games quite a bit when time permits.

I spent a year in Spain teaching English to 3-8 year olds and traveling around Europe! It was a blast and an amazing experience and I met a lot of cool people there!

I am vegan and have been so for about 8 years now. Its cool if you arent.

Teach, Learn, Share

Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it.
Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many.
Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books.
Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders.
Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations.
But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.
