ABOUT ME

Sorry for the late references everyone that has stayed with me. I will get around to writting them all when i get time. If anyone needs one sooner then inbox me :-)

Hey! I'm Ioan and even though i'm a dentist (as of 12th of June 2013) there is no need to be afraid :-p

Caught the traveling bug in the summer of 2011 and now i'm desperate to see the world. Unfortunately I'm stuck for the moment in Cardiff and even though i love the city it's no Rio de Janeiro ... Couchsurfing is a great way of bringing the world to me :-)

I would like to think i'm quite energetic and fun so hopefully that will come through when i host or be hosted :-)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As a host:
I don't think couchsurfing is about getting a free nights stay. If your looking just to save some money then please don't send a request.

Unfortunately mid week i am very busy work and can't promise i will have much time to hang out. However on the weekends i am generally free :-)

If your looking to have a good time in Cardiff then i'll do my best to show off my country's capital in the best possible light!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted more than I have surfed however I have massively enjoyed both types of experience. I love having a house full of couchsurfers as it creates a hostel atmosphere and it almost feels like being on holiday.

Interessi

I like to keep busy - life is too short to be stuck in front of the TV! I don't even have one at the flat...

At home if i'm not doing dentist related things then i'm teaching chess, going to the gym, playing some other type of sport or meeting with friends. I also like chill out once in a while with a good film.

When traveling i don't seem to allow my body to rest. In the day i'll take in the sights of a city - although i'm not a massive fan of museums. I love taking photographs but i'm no good at the moment...

At night the party animal inside comes out ;-) You don't know a city until you've sampled it's nightlife

Musica, film e libri

I like comedies, true stories and psychological thrillers mostly - films that make you think. I'm a big of Di Caprio as an actor and my favorite directors are Guy Richie and Tarantino.

Not much of a reader but have recently started listening to audio books (because i'm lazy...). I have a bit of an interest in religion and have read a couple of Richard Dawkins books and i hope to one day read all of the major religious texts - we'll see if i manage it...`

I'm probably proudest of helping out my patient's and seeing how grateful they are gives you a real buzz.

I teach chess and know plenty about teeth (i hope...) but i doubt anyone wants a lesson in this...

There are so many things i want to learn! If anyone wants to give me a guitar lesson or some spanish tuition then i wouldn't say no :-p

One of the most important things to complete on my bucket list is to make a video that gets 1 million hits on youtube. If there are any gifted filmmakers out there that want to help then that would be great!
