About Me

Ello there!

RIGHT NOW: I am a filmmaker and I work mostly in fashion; recently I did a political/educational documentary. You can see the things I do on my website.

Besides this I have 2 Youtube Channels: one in Romanian and one in English where I help people make better decisions.

This is the description I wrote when I was around 18 on couchsurfing. It's cute:

There are so many things I love doing and I'm passionate about, and this made my choice for what I want to do in life quite hard. But I figured out that there is no point in waiting to find your true, one and only passion. Just pick something you love doing, and you're maybe good at and go for it. Then I'll see what happens. So, right now I'm focusing on getting good at my craft which is graphic design and on learning as much as I can - in every area.

Generalities:
People inspire and fascinate me more than anything. That's why I'm into phychology and everything related to this subject - human dynamics. Loving people made me love travel because that's how you meet creme de la creme of interesting people, different beliefs systems, culture.
I've been doing music since I was 5 and it's always been a big part of my life... as much as movies. Making and directing movies always fascinated me. I might end up in the film industry directing or acting.
When I was 14 I started making clothes and I had for a while a bussiness, I was really into fashion back then, I had a fashion blog, and I worked to be a fashion designer. But I realized it was not fullfiling for me and I picked something else.

I could go on like that but I'm saving the best for when we meet in person ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

How can you not be on couchsurfing? I first heard about it from a polish friend one rainy summer day in Vama Veche and I was hoocked!

Interests

social dynamics, making this world a better place (litteraly-you'll see..), people under extreme conditions, human's unlimited potential, magic.

Art, which encompasses a lot. Hiking, connecting with nature, swimming. dancing. psychology.

I always searched for meaning, I searched it in filosophy and psychology, but it did not satisfy me. I moved over to spirituality and religion which are really interesting to me. The questions that were bothering me were: what is the truth, what is life etc.

Some say that there is no such thing, that there are many truths. Bulsh*t!
Some say that all religions ultimately believe in the same GOD. If you research, this is also not true.

But I believe that if you really search for the truth, it's impossible not to find it.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in music depends on the mood. Music that, again, makes me feel something.
I watched lots of movies. Spirited Away, the trilogy: Before Sunrise - great movies. Amelie. Black cat, white cat. I also loove the english series Poirot.
I've read a lot of phychology. Lately I'm into books that root me in reality. An absolute must read for me would be 1984- george orwell, 12 chairs and Golden Calf -Ilf and Petrov, everything by Dostoievsky and philosophy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in the woods alone for 2 months (June-August 2016).

Teach, Learn, Share

My philosoply is to take risks. Because you have two choices in life: to wait or to create. There is only one way to wait and there are thousands ways to create.
And what you give is what you get. Be a giver.
Also I stumbled upon this quote today and really resonated with me: “Spend your money on the things money can buy. Spend your time on the things money can’t buy.” - Haruki Murakami
