Hello, I'm Ioana welcome to my profile. I'm Romanian originally, but lived in the UK for the past 9 years. I lived all over the place, south, west, north, until I ‘settled’ in London for 2 years or so.

A little bit about me..
I've been a pescatarian for the past 3 years.
I love animals, I always had animals in my house when I was younger. I've been working as a UX designer for 2 years, worked with kids with specials needs helping them express themselves through dance, and have been a salsa teacher too. All that until I quit my jobs and left to Mexico to travel.
I love everything creative - dance, music, theatre, writing. I think it’s super important to keep being creative in our lives, it makes us happy and live longer and happier :)
I like cooking and learning new dishes from around the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like getting to know and understanding people (hence my degree in psychology and my jobs) from everywhere. Although London is great for that, as you find here people from all over the world, I want to travel as well and experience the cities from the citizens' eyes rather than as a tourist.

Looking forward for new experiences through hosting/being hosted in the cities I plan to visit.

Got the helicopter and skied on the Matterhorn, the 5th tallest mountain in the Alps.

- Romanian, Spanish, and practice some French if you're a beginner :)
- how to cook 'Sarmale' a traditional Romanian dish (although Russians, Ukranians, and Turkish have a similar dish) as well as many vegan recipes and how to adapt to that diet.
- how to play the piano (music theory & basic practical stuff)
- how to use photoshop, sketch, how to make your website usable
- how to dance Cuban salsa
