Overview
About Me
Hi! I am Ioan (pronounced E1). I am 23 and I've just finished a Computer Science degree in Glasgow. I love life and I fully enjoy both simple and complex fascinating things. At the momentI'm trying to figure out whether I want to become a researcher or write code for the industry. According to friends, people have a good time hanging out with me. However, I can take things seriously if need be. I am outgoing but respectful. I am trying not to judge anyone and I strive to be a better person by challenging myself continuously. I've only been outside Europe once. Walking and cycling are my favorite ways of getting around. I wish to expand my artistic side further.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I resonate with the idea because I truly enjoy meeting people and exploring their cultures and lifestyles. Meeting locals is usually the best part of travelling in my opinion. I would also like to give back to the community when by hosting others in my city!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent one night in New York without accomodation (this wasn't that hard as the city never sleeps! however, it was really fun).
I managed to obtain a scholarship to attend the International Conference on Functional Programming.
I managed to complete a difficult hike through really bad weather conditions.
I slept for a week in a tent in the Danube's Delta during the "Anonimul" independent movie festival.
I survived a week in Stockholm without using public transport.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach Programming, Mathematics, basketball, English and Romanian. I can help you fix your computers, mobile phones or other devices. I know coffee.
I want to learn how to play a musical instrument, speak more languages, cook, do improvisation theatre and climb rocks.

My experience and stories from where I'm from, where I've been and where I'm going next.
