It is always awkward to speak about yourself, but I will give it a try. Ιn general I am an easy going type of person who tries to enjoy life. I would say that I like the extensive discussions but not the excessive chatter. I appreciate spontaneity, kindness, generosity and sincerity. As is reasonable I am trying to be characterized by those values in my own life. I mainly enjoy outdoor activities with friends. Such as, doing sports, discover nice bars, enjoy the sunshine in a park with friends and talk. As a Greek guy, food has a key role in my life. I really admire people who have talent in cooking, I am trying my best as well! Always part of my visit in a country is to try traditional dishes. I consider it a way to understand better the culture. Usually the most spicy, the better. Well, of course I also love good music, whatever the genre is! Of course I have my preferences, but everyone appreciates nice music and party!!! I will conclude with my eternal love, the sea and whatever has to do with it. I used to play water polo, I do windsurfing and scuba-diving. Most of my summer times I 've spent them on Greek islands, struggling to visit as many as I can every time ( they are literally endless)! I am a person who likes new experiences and looks forward for the next one!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I want to share and learn from other's experience and understand things from another perspective I couldn't even imagine. That's what I enjoy more when I live into an international environment. Such as now that I am doing my masters in Leiden. The last two years, I met people from all over the world and I've heard really interesting stories! Furthermore, I rest my case with all those travel guides. A trip is always nice, either way, but I want the real experience. I don't want to be just a tourist, I want to become a citizen of each city for few days. Let me explain. Currently, I am living in Netherlands, but I've spent my entire life in Athens, Greece. I know this city like the back of my hand, I can get you to places and tell you stories that any travel guide will never include. Last but not least, I joined CS, because it really gives you the opportunity to make more and more friends. If a person is offering two of the most valuable things, such as personal time and his own place, in my eyes at least is an open-minded person. He/she is intended to trust you even if he/she doesn't really know you. Such a guy is offering the first ingredient for a long lasting friendship. The yeast is already there.
