I love watching films,reading, listening to music, and, of course, sharing that passion with other people. I love being in the nature, hiking, camping, or just swimming at a quiet beach. I also really like to travel, have new experiences and meet new people with different philosophy, ambitions and passion for life.

First of all, cinema is my huge passion, I love watching films, reading, talking and writing about them. I've been unofficially attending lectures at my local film school, volunteering at many film festivals both in Greece and abroad and hope to make my own documentaries some day.

I'm also a huge music enthusiast, currently struggling to learn guitar. I love listening to all kinds of music, rock and folk(especially greek) being my favorites and also going to music festivals. One of my favourite things about travelling is the opportunity to experience different traditions and genres of music, and I always go to concerts with every chance I get.

Finally, I love reading, be it literature, philosophy, poetry, history or political theory. For me books are a place to find compassion and inspiration, but most importantly to change your perspective and broaden your mindset in new challenging and exciting directions. Quoting Kafka: "A book must be the axe for the frozen sea within us".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel much more and get to experience the most out of new places through the perspective of locals. I also want to share experiences with people, who share my excitement for travelling and learning about different cultures and ways of living. To me that's one of the best ways of getting to know others and opening yourself up to new exciting possibilities. Travelling is not just about seeing new places, but about meeting and bonding with people, opening yourself up and creating meaningful connections.
