O mnie
CURRENT MISSION
to live LONDON
ABOUT ME
I was a post grad studying media & communications in London, now I'm working here! I'm originally from Northern California, studied linguistics for my undergrad in Washington D.C., and have lived 1 year in Tokyo. And I love, love, love London.
I speak Japanese (studied it for years) and Russian (not too good at it!).
PHILOSOPHY
I rely on gut instinct and the 'feeling'. Then I try to plan around it.
Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So far I've only been surfing others' places -- although right now I'm open to meeting for coffee/sightseeing together in London as well, especially (but by no means only) if you could help me with my Russian or Japanese :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've couchsurfed 5 times now and loved it every time. The way it plugs me into the place I'm staying is just amazing. You can read about my first experience with it on my blog here. I've also been doing language-related exchange for years, mainly with other Japanese students, but I'm also interested in meeting Russian speakers as well! If you have any questions about places to travel in Japan (or London), I'm the person to ask! =)

Jedna niesamowita rzecz, którą zrobiłem(-am)
in 2009 I went to a super southern island in Japan called Yakushima where they have the oldest tree in the world! I didn't see the tree (it was a 5 hour hike!!) but the whole island was green and beautiful and a breath of fresh air from typical Tokyo life. And I saw giant sea turtles laying eggs on the beach in the middle of the night =)
