23 year old born in Romania. Adopted at 2 and raised in Illinois, US. I now attend Illinois State University, in the same hometown I was raised in... so you can imagine my urge to take a nice vacation and get away for a little.

I love keeping in shape and doing so through either working out or spontaneous adventure! Since I'm an artist at my college, I naturally like creating: whether it's art or music. I would say I'm a very optimist and outgoing person. Life is too short to be mad all the time. I love going out to parties or bars with friends and especially meeting new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm an adopted child from Piteiste, Romania, who was raised from the tender age of 2 in Bloomington, Illinois, United States! Crazy right? I was born in 1992 and adopted in 1994. I never had much of a longing to visit Romania, since Bloomington was all I remember while being raised. But, in the recent years, the thought of not having ever experienced my original heritage and culture has become more and more of an ongoing curiosity of mine. I've never gone back to my homeland and I have had an increasing urge to do so within the next few years now! By researching Romanian culture, I stumbled upon this website which seems like the best coincidence I could've found. I would love to find someone to stay with in a larger city in Romania, as I am a young, outgoing person myself and love to explore and experience what my environment has to offer!
