Mi nombre es Iona, tengo 30 años. Soy de la Patagonia, pero vivo en Buenos Aires desde hace 12 años.
Mi título dice Ciencias Políticas, pero todavía estoy averiguando qué es eso. Así que sí, estudie Ciencia Política, y no, no quiero ser presidente. Así que aca estoy. Me considero una fotógrafa y chef en proceso, dada mi pasión hacia ellas.
Me encanta viajar y poder conocer nuevas formas de vida, nuevas personas, nuevos lugares. Creo que esa es la esencia. Como dijo John, "No te llevas nada contigo más que tu alma" (y todo lo que haces con ella, si puedo añadir).Estoy planeando un viaje de bastante tiempo a Europa y espero que este sea el comienzo de muchos más.

I love to travel and to be able to get to know new ways of life, new people, new places. I think that is the essence. Like John said, "You don't take nothing with you but your soul" (and everything you do with it, if I may add). I'm planning a long-term trip to Europe and I hope this will be the beginning of many more trips to come.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Me crié en una casa que recibia huespedes y turistas amigos todo el tiempo, asique conisdero natual esas formas de vincularse. Creo que es una buena forma de poder ver los lugares a los que se va desde otro angulo, desde otra perspectiva y creo que es una linda forma de convertir al mundo en una gran comunidad y de no ser individuos aislados solos en una habitación de un hotel tratando de enriquecernos solamente a nostros mismos.

I grew up in a house that received guests and tourists friends all the time, so I consider these forms of bonding to be natural. I think it's a good way to see the places that you are going from another angle, from another perspective and I think it's a nice way to turn the world into a great community and not be isolated individuals alone in a room of a hotel trying to enrich only ourselves.

Me gusta aprender, todo, uno nunca sabe. Creo que justamente uno de los motivos de viajar son las ganas de concoer y aprender. Creo ser bastante hambrienta de conocimiento y nuevas experiencias. Creo mas en compartir conocimientos que en enseñarlos.
I like to learn, just about everything and anything, you'll never know. I think that one of the reasons to travel is the desire to know and learn. I think I'm pretty eager for knowledge and new experiences. I believe more in sharing knowledge than in teaching it.

Soy de descendencia galesa asique puedo compartir conocimientos de cocina galesa y en menor medida de cocina en general. Un buen pastel no se le niega a nadie. Una buena charla con una buena taza de te o unos mates, tampoco.

I am of Welsh descent so I can share some knowledge of Welsh cuisine and maybe cooking in general, perhaps. A good piece of cake can't be denied. A good talk with a cup of tea or some "mates", neither.
