I grew up and still am based out of the Sierra foothills of Northern California, an area I know and love well. I'm currently taking a year off from my studies to travel and work and adventure, to experience life outside of curriculum for a little bit. I'm an honors student, a daily scribbler, a cloud watcher, a good times seeker, a responsible young adult with a strong work ethic and mature morals, a singer, and a lover of words and many different kinds of beauty. Traveling has never failed to lead me to them.

I'm backpacking Europe this winter with the simple intention to experience more of the world and enjoy the nameless yet certain bliss of travel and adventure. I'm also a student, which makes my endeavors fairly low budget ones, thus inspiring a search for inexpensive accommodations during my journey. I also love the interactive element of Couchsurfing and the opportunity to make connections and new friends that it provides.

Interests

Music and art in general, literature, beat literature, poetry, live theatre, agriculture and organic farming, the outdoors, backpacking and camping, travel, the classics, languages. I play guitar and like to sing and always love meeting other creative people. Jam sesh, jive sesh, whatever it be.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled to Malawi, Africa: in part to help with the UN's Millenium Development Goals project, and mostly to have the most wide eyed, beautiful month of my life.
