Hello! :)

My name is Ione and I am 26 years old. I finished my university studies in Physics, and after some travelling experience I moved to Barcelona for a job. I was a couple of years there working as a programmer but it was not a job for me so some months ago, I decided to quit and go to Bulgaria for a volunteering about environment and sustainability, being more connected to nature. The volunteering was going to be for just 2 months but I finally stayed 5. I just came back to Spain and I am trying to find my path, seeing what is going to be next.
I consider myself easygoing, openminded, curious and adaptable to any kind of situation.
I like meeting new people with different cultures and see how we may live differently but we can still connect really well.

Что привело меня на Couchsurfing

There are a lot of different ways to travel. There is the kind of people that likes travelling with the "all included" bracelet in a luxury hotel, and thats not me.
In those kind of travels you don't meet the people living in the place you go and you don't really see how the city you are going at is, just the more famous places where all the tourists go.

I like the way of travelling in which you get to know the people there and the place you are going, not just the sightseeing places that appear on the guide. By doing couchsurfing I have learnt that there is another way to travel that I consider it is more "pure" and from which you can meet lot of new friends and get in touch with the surroundings.

Well, and I don't have to forget to say that I love cooking!! I don't do it really well I just know cooking some basic things, but when it is possible I try to learn how to cook new dishes! So if you welcome me to your home, don't worry about the dinner, I can cook it for us :)

Музыка, кино и книги

I listen to a lot of types of music, but there is a singer I specially listen to now: Xavier Rudd. And I consider as a virtue I have that I love singing even if I don't do it really well!

I could recommend some movies or documentaries such as 8 women, Martin Hache, Wild, Amelie, The motorcycle diaries...
But there is one that really reached my heart : Into the Wild. It made me rethink a lot of facts.

About books... I likethose about crime and suspense. Somehow, I am reading a lot of books now about the conscience, the brain, the humanity, the heart and the body, quantum physics... Soooooo interesting!

Also about permaculture!

I don't think I have a really interesting life for the others, doing amazing things. However, I find it increasingly amazing because I am finding my way in every move I make.

I think I had an amazing experience in my Erasmus in Rome and in that time I travelled alone for the first time, I have also done all the Camino de Santiago of the North and I returned home by hitchhiking in a record time, I participated in a film as an extra, I volunteered with children in Peru, I hitchhiked from home to the Dolomites in Italy, I volunteered in Bulgaria, I did paracliding... (I could add some things more but maybe is better to have a conversation face to face and get to know eachother)

I am opened to learn everything you can teach me! I think I do learn really easily.
And the other way around, I could teach you whatever you feel I can give you.
