ABOUT ME

I'm not a very exprienced new CS surfer but with extensive hosting experience from HospitalityClub network. I am a split personality with 3 people in one:) - One is an anarchist, another guy is into ecological projects, and the last a normal entrepreneur family man:) Lately I finally managed to make these guys agree at least on general points of life so that they started working together, or at least I'm close to it..

PHILOSOPHY

Its not only the beauty that will save the world as Dostoievsky said it, its the truthful beauty. Plus I am into practical day-dreaming: i.e. tonight you dream it, today try make it come true:)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host cycling travellers at my summer house 1km east of Samananca village.
From there you can cycle to Old Orhei and Tipova or back to Chisinau city

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Me and my wife Liuda hosted about 30 people from over 10 countries although did it through hospitalityclub (HC) where I go by the name "ionis". A few good years my house was a refuge for many extreme hardcore travellers like a frenchman that visitied most of the coutries on the planet, or hosting for 2 weeks the  "walking dutchman" that went from Holland to China literwalking by my place" in Moldova. And than, its easy to understand why my life was enriched a lot as a result. Some years it is harder to host people at my house as our baby keps us awake in the night:)

Interests

Meeting "original" people from new countries as well as different cross-cultural discussion topics. Visionary, responsible and original human-scale entrepreneurial projects. Freedom , the sustainable and responsible one.
