I run a small startup working on an asteroid mining simulation game, we have grand dilusions of simualting bigger chunks of the world. In college I got my degree in physics and astronomy and did some fun research projects. I enjoy talking about all things space/A.I./the future. HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Originally we did couch surfing on Kauai and Oahu and met some really awesome people, so we spent two years (mainly summers) hosting visitors and having a blast!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed with some amazing folks on Kauai, saw the island from the back of a pickup truck; partied hard into the night and early morning! On Oahu we stayed with a couple (summer camp coordinator and a teacher.)

We then have hosted maybe 15-20 groups between 2012 and 2014, it's been a ton of fun meeting people from all over the world and discovering parts of Seattle I didn't even know existed.

CS is great, I look forward to more adventure with you!

Movies: Well crafted Scifi flicks and action movies. Comedy is hit or miss for me.

Observed at the 2.1m Otto Struve Telescope in MacDonald Observatory Texas.

Met a few astronauts. Shook hands with a nobel prize winning NASA scientist without knowing who he was.

Got paid $60 to watch a 13GW pulsed laser fire at the moon for an hour and reflect off of mirrors left by Apollo astronauts.

Been to a shit ton of national parks, seen a lot of wildlife up close.

I have lots of good stories.

I studied astronomy and have 5 years expertise in the Seattle tech industry. Shoot anything you want to know at me and I'll tell you what I can. I'm really good at explaining complex topics in simple terms. Want a mind bender? Cosmology tells us space itself is expanding, which accounts for redshifts of some distant objects that appear to be traveling faster than the speed of light.
