About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To relax and enjoy the ride.... while trying to do a doctoral degree

ABOUT ME

I am a relaxed, talkative person, that laughes loud, likes beer and enjoys nerdy talk.

PHILOSOPHY

keep it simple and fun

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a lot of people without being a couchsurfing member. It's a nice idea to give the, "hey, do you know anybody living in XXplace that could host me?" a more structured approach. I've also crashed at a lot of places, friends, family, friends of family and so on and so forth. I find it is always an enriching and entertaining experience. Much better than staying at a hotel or so.

Interests

I'm an industrial designer and I focus my work around Waste. I would say sustainability is one of my burning topics, but since I work with it, I sometimes rather talk about other stuff on my free time. I love movies, music, ci-fi books, roleplaying games (dice and paper kind), tools machinery, philosophy and comic book.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: All time classics, Old ci-fi and thrillers, animations, wacky movies with introspective realizations, like Dead Man, Rango, Ghost-Dog, etc.
Music: Quite eclectic, Tool, Bob Marley, Faith no More, Rancheras, MPB "Musica Popular Brazilera", Tango, latin american rock, Pearl Jam... etc, etc.
Books: Dune, the Earthsea Saga, Flatland, Foundation, Lovecraft, Poe, Moebius comics, the Maxx (also comics), etc

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw an electric storm at the break of dawn from a distance on a transatlantic flight. You could faintly make out the land line of the continent below. It was beautifull.

I was also awestruck by the surrealistic castle build by a Eddward James, in the middle of the Hastecan jungle in the small town of Xilitla. Concrete spiral staicases with no walls, that arrived to nothing, in the middle of the jungle. Absolutly mindblowing.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Denmark, France, Germany, Mexico, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States, Uruguay

Countries I’ve Lived In
