Hello everyone!

I'm a 26 years old Turkish woman. Also, I'm an environmental engineer 🌳 Currently, I'm living in Warsaw for my master's studies in sustainable development and meanwhile working in a corporate 🤢. Occasionally, I try to escape some places to recharge myself 🌞

I am an open-minded, adventurous, environmental and lgbtq+ friendly person 🌼🌈

I've done Work and Travel exchange program in U.S. when I was 19 and I was a "fake" erasmus student in Warsaw more than a year 🤩

Whenever I am abroad, I am another İpek who seems to be a different person but at the same, closest version of myself. I find the travels as an intense form of life. We see ups and downs in a such a short time. We are so happy, so crazy, too sad, excited, confused, blessed, disappointed. All of the feelings. I wouldn't say "it is amazing" like it has only the good feelings and the good moments; but is real. Sooo, long story in short, I feel free and alive when I am travelling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to see the places with a local and meet to local people! As a tourist, we could only see the city very superficially. I would love to embrace the vibe, the culture as much as possible! I'd love to see non-touristic places, experiences, maybe just a grabbing a beer! All depends on the availability of the host :)

And for sure, I love meeting new people or be surprised and appreciate what life brings spontaneously. You never know what will happen 🦥

Note: I am not here only for a free place to stay. If I wouldn't get along with the host, there is no meaning to stay and spending time with some for days... I can easily stay in hostel. I am just trying my chance if I can meet some people who I can have a vibe with! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hitchhiked someone who was a murderer 🤩 In the middle of nowhere, while we were drinking tea and eating something, he started to talk about his murder with its all details. I needed to listen and approve it while I was drinking my tea. I was trying not to show my shocked and scared reaction. I had to smile to survive hahah

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook well! :) I can make you some Turkish breakfast or anything else you would wish for :)

mmmm, what else? I am a very talkative person. I can tell you some of my stories :p I can party, walk all the day without complaining :)
