Overview
About Me
We're Ipek and Misra.
We, first met in the playground of a kindergarten. We are still not sure if we were 2 or 3 years old when we became friends. (Please see our childhood pic among the photos) Since then, we have never separated, and most probably the only difference you will see about us will be our looks.
Traveling and sharing life with each other are two of our greatest passions, so one day on a Skype conversation between Vienna and Oxford, we decided to make our life more memorable by combining these two activities.
Seven months after that Skype talk we are ready for our life-changing experience. We saved the minimum amount to travel for several months, and planning to live on $30 each. We will be traveling South America for 3 months, and hopefully this will be our lives' crescendo.
Feel free to contact or follow us on Facebook and Instagram. (mambokresendo)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We love traveling, but we have limited budget. We love meeting new people, yet its hard to know where to start in abroad. We are hospitable, not only on paper as a national feature, and good guides for our city, Istanbul. Therefore, to exchange hospitality and network socially, couch surfing is the best channel for us.
Interests
Ipek studied Philosophy with special interest in cognitive philosophy. Other than traveling and making life analysis with Misra, she is passionate about kids and nature. She knows "God knows how many" languages, plays piano, and sings. She is also interested in theater and film-making.
Misra studied Political Science and International Relations with a Film Studies minor and got her masters degree on Social Anthropology with special interest area in the Middle East. She feels as the happiest person when she is dancing. Books excites her as much as history.
