ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in Paris, went to college in Boston, during which I spent a semester in Sydney, moved to Saint George, Utah. Although somewhat of a culture shock, I was surprised at how easily I gave up all the city perks for the more outdoorsy adventurous lifestyle there. I was on the lookout for a city that offered both and found myself in Seattle, WA, where I happily currently reside.
I go hiking and backpacking as much as possible and am constantly looking for music or art festivals, new places to swim or what the best place to watch the sunset is.
PHILOSOPHY
Don’t dismiss it before you try it. Lots of things sound a bit iffy at first—such as eating fried scorpions (but man are they good!) or squeezing through a 20 foot long crack in the wall—but in the end they’re the moments you’ll remember the best. And plus, what’s cooler than a new-found interest?!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I haven’t yet had a chance to host anyone since I seem to always be renting a room from someone, but I have been hosted once and loved the experience! I am always open to meeting new people and I am more than willing to meet up or show around someone passing through. I also hope to keep traveling at my current rate so maybe I’ll link up with someone soon.
Interests
I'm interested and up for practically anything. That’s the best I can describe myself—it is very rare for me not to find a common interest with another and beyond anything I love being taught new things and be brought out of my comfort zone.

Music, Movies, and Books
Although I read, listen to music and go out to movies relatively often I have the absolute worst memory for any of these.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most incredible place I’ve seen in the past few years was definitely a misty beach bordered by very tall trees with not a soul around and with only the crashing of the waves as a soundtrack (on my way to the Franz Joseph glacier in the South Island, NZ). The most amazing thing I’ve done in the past few years was probably hiking Angels Landing in Zion, simply because I am slightly afraid of heights, and jeez was that high—but beautiful. My short solo backpacking trip in Olympic National Park is also one to remember...
