Hello there,

My name is Yi Po Fang, you can call me Peter! I'm an airline pilot in EVA AIR, based in Taiwan. My Dad is a college professor, and my mom works in hospital for government. I have one sister, who works for AIG in Tokyo. My family is loving and supportive, and I'm always grateful.

I'm an outgoing person who loves to make friends. I laugh a lot, and always try my best to be the funny one. People say I'm little shy when they first know me, and find out I'm quite entertaining afterward.

I like to dance, sing and like all kinds of sports and outdoor activities. Also, I read books, take photos and write stories to share with my friends. As my major in college was Finance, I usually do some investment research when I have free time.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I love to travel, meet people, and try new stuff. Being a pilot, I'm lucky to do so while working. But still, the world is too big - the more I see, the more I realize how little I know. Plus, the short layovers at outstations make me feel like a passenger. Bottom line, I would like to meet people, and learn what locals really do, eat and enjoy. I'm even happier to hear some "exotic" stories and always ready for cultural shocks of any kinds. I believe couch surfing gives me this chance, making every trip slower, deeper, and more meaningful.

In exchange, I can share my experiences in the sky if you're interested. And if you ever stop by and want to enjoy some real TAIWAN FOODS, I'll be the guide whenever I can!
