About Me

CURRENT MISSION

"تسير بنا هذه الليالي كأنها ** سفائن بحر مالهنّ مراسي"
"Ces nuits nous emportent... comme des bateaux qui n'ont pas d'ancre..." (Al Mutanabbi)
"These nights take us... like boats that have no anchor..." (Al Mutanabbi)

ABOUT ME

A Tunisian Medical Doctor who survived long-boring-medical-studies, working and living in Tunis where I was born.
Urban cycling enthusist, with a huge reading addiction. I can esily spend a large part of my daily free time seeking for well directed movies or walking around the city with my camera trying to be a self-taught photographer. And yes, I don't eat onion ! :D

I really appreciate starting conversations with pepole from all over the world, sharing new experiences, exchanging some travel stories. I can tell you a lot about Tunisia and it's impressive history, monuments, villages,... some friends say I was born inside a museum, but unfortunately that never happened! ;)

PHILOSOPHY

"There is one but truly serious philosophical problem, and that is suicide. Judging whether life is or is not worth living amounts to answering the fundamental question of philosophy. All the rest — whether or not the world has three dimensions, whether the mind has nine or twelve categories — comes afterward. These are games; one must first answer."
Albert Camus, The Myth of Sisyphus.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, through my profile on couchsurfing.org I try as much as possible to meet local and foreign travelers. When travelling I enjoy couchsurfing each time. I already took part to many meeting and activities orgonized by our local CS community in Tunisia. I even organized some local meetings. I can confirm that the CS spirit is strong enough in Tunisia.

Interests

In another life I would loved being an architect, a writer, a cinema director or just a simple photographer... And that is making me today a big fan of Music, Cinema and Photography, enjoying some frequent reading addiction moments. Don't know, that's how I explain it!
In other parts of my free time I try hard to understand some strange politic facts. Always travelling with my newspaper.
Also I like driving my bike sunday early in the morning while my city Tunis is still sleeping.
