Hi CouchSurfers! I'm Marshal. I'm from a city called Amritsar, which is a city located in the north Indian state of Punjab. The city home to the sacred Harmandir Sahib also known the Golden Temple is the epicenter of Sikh religion. The city attracts millions of pilgrims and tourists on a single day, more than even the Taj Mahal. There are plenty of attractions to see and do in the region. Some of the major attractions of the region include the Ghanta Ghar, Amrit Sarovar, Akal Takht, Jalianwala Bagh, Summer Palace of maharaja Ranjit Singh and Ram tirth among others. A must do in Amritsar is have a meal at Golden Temple, which is free and delicious to say the least.

I'm currently self employed and running a manufacturing unit of herbal medicines.
I also do charity work as event supervisor in MKC Roko Cancer, which has donated mobile vans to diagnose breast cancer in villages and cities of northern india.

I'm using Couch Surfing for the first time this July,2017 as I have travelled to 10 countries previously and heard a lot about it. Firstly I used to book group package tours, now I wish to go the unplanned way and become a traveller not a tourist.

I always, always seek adventures and stories which can inspire me.

I like making new friends and getting to know their stories.
