About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live! It takes up most of my time

ABOUT ME

Well, I am talkative, extrovert... I love travelling and meeting new people and places. I especially enjoy when I can stay in a place for some time (at least a few months), getting to know it and its peoples better.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is short, you know when it starts but not when it is going to end so try to make the best out of it, withough forgetting that there are more people on earth with your same rights and of course, that the earth is suppossed to remain there once you're gone!! It's thanks to this planet that we are all here, respect it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to meet other people for a tea and a good talk, and whatever other interesting activity that may come up, and if I can help them in any way I try to do my best :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Nearly every holliday I've spent away with my friends has ended up is some other friend's couch/floor. A few years ago we travelled to Cádiz in mid-August without having booked anything whatsoever... When we got there, at 22:30 I called a friend I had from my Erasmus in Ireland and asked him where we could go (we were looking for a camping), he told me straight away to take our things and go to his place, apparently it was impossible to find anything else at that time of the day and the year :S We spent 3 days and nights in his beautiful tiled floor till we got a place to camp. It was much fun!! Thanks Pablo! :D

Interests

Dancing (oh how I love dancing!! especially salsa), reading, travelling (of course!), languages and cultures, cooking and food!!! (I'm quite skinny, blame it on my metabolism)...
I really like animals (but that does not mean I cannot be scared of them).
I love the countryside, I go hiking whenever I can (that usually means once a week). I also like rock/wall climbing, and I'm starting to practice potholing...

Music, Movies, and Books

To mention just a few...

Movies... The Fight Club, Shutter Island, Inglorious Bastards, ... I can rewatch indefinitely Mary Poppins, The Goonies and The Princess Bride :)

Music... I am more and more into the dark side... indie music LOL (especially in Spanish)! But I keep listening and loving rock, grundge and alternative music.

Books... 1984, Bless me,Última, Waiting for Godot. I love Agatha Christie and Arturo Pérez Reverte among others. And of course, Harry Potter!! XD

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumping in the dark into deep pools of freezing water, in my way out of a cave
:D

Teach, Learn, Share
