Overview
About Me
I am a solo female traveller and a travel writer from India, on the road for 4 years, mostly volunteering and hitchhiking my way through.
I left my hometown altogether on 1st January 2021, to travel full-time. In 2020, I went for my first-ever solo backpacking across Jaipur (India) for seven days. That’s when I realized this is what I should do, not just on weekends or whenever I get time. I wanted to know the world and write. Afterwards, I sold and donated all my belongings. It has been more than four years living a nomadic and minimalistic life. Only home I know now is my 70-litre backpack. And a tent and a sleeping bag.
I believe in slow and sustainable travelling that imbibes local traditions with minimal carbon footprints. I am an avid hiker, highly immersed in experiential travel journalism.

More personally, I am a vegetarian. I am prone to a healthy and green lifestyle, both physically and mentally. I am allergic to smoking (to the point I can’t take it even if somebody else smokes in front of me). And I love my work. So you will find me either working or having meaningful conversations.
Here is to setting some healthy boundaries: I sleep at 10 pm and wake up at 5 am. This is kind of important to me, as this sets my whole day and my morning routines of yoga and meditation. I am not a party person. I love meaningful and culturally intriguing conversations. I can be meaningfully social and contextually unsocial (perks of an introverted self).
P.s. I am extremely passionate about travelling and CS is a medium for that only. Not for sex (I had to specify that after a potential attempt by a host from Punjab India).
Currently in: Malaysia

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being on the road itself is amazing. But if I really have to pick one thing for the sake of it, I would say, walking and solo camping across Spiti for nine days (from Atal Tunnel to Kaza) covering 150 kilometers. That landscape changed my life.
