...my family first of all like the last 50 years - once we educated our kids, let them grow up, working beside.. and now only to be a fixpoint for them in this crazy world.. helping with the next generation, means grandchildren!!!!!

maybe you will call me *talkactive*... and normally I'm sleeping untill noon coz I'm going to bed very late..... - I'm originally german, married to an Iranian, have two adult kids. recently I got the idea, I worked enough during my life and now prefer fun & travelling & to learn much more about the world and its people and different cultures!!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
as my son is a traveller, too, I understand the young ppl very well and I'm ready to support them to reach their goals!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
we had still guests when there was no CS or HC.. my kids picked them up in the park nearby or saved them from an awfull uncommon traffic or some what and we enjoyed to help or feed or to undertain them.. :-))) shared our experience, gave hints how to reach in the best way the greatest sightseeing points, how to understand the ppl and their culture & customs and so on.. and even to be able to introduce our beautiful country in a better way than by world press & tv...

I'm interested in any kind of art... cannot live without art!!!!!!
further I'm in history, traditions, art and music of all countries all over the world.
my hobbies are photographing - I never go out without my camera!!! collecting postcards >>>postcrossing (www.postcrossing.com), book reading, foreign languages, poems.. - AND of course travelling!

(btw - you could always cheer me up a LOT, if you bring for me some postcards from whereever!!!!! :-))

I like classic films like *casablanca*, my most beloved film. music all kind of, but the ones which keep us balanced and calm. my younger son is a professional singer and so for sure I like the azerbaijanian traditional music!
books - I cannot live without books!!!!!!!! I prefer to read biographies, travelling books and poems.

and another important thing: to get a 2nd child after such a long period of 12 years when we had been sure, to let grow up only ONE child would be best!!!!!! (because this was a mistake :-)))

specially ppl who are interested in pottery I'm able to show the special kind of pottery of province east-azerbaijan - using the white clay (kaolin) and turquoise glaze! I can show you the for sure oldest and still alive pottery workshop in tabriz, working for more than 5o years at the same place. the clay is found near zenouz, north of tabriz. and I can bring you to the potter's house in tabriz, live museum, managed by east-azerbaijan pottery friends association, with a permanent pottery exhibiton, workshops and shop. and last but not least you can see my own workpieces, I've done during a dozen of years.........
