We love to travel! And meet other people from all over the world. So why not invite a little bit of the world into our house / on our couch.

ABOUT ME

We are a family of four. We are Igor and Hannelore, both love to travel and meet other people from all over the world. Our biggest hobby is sailing! Just for fun, to relax and do some racing. Besides that we're otherwise sportive as well.

We have two great kids: Koen, January 2007 and Jasmijn, September 2008. Normally they sleep all night, so they won't keep you awake. :-) We hope to show them a lot of our world, all the different cultures and people.

We live in Halsteren, in the south-west of the Netherlands. Close to Bergen op Zoom, which is the best Dutch citycentre from 2008! (won an election) From where we live you can travel to Antwerp, other cities in Belgium, the sea / beaches / dunes, and we live close to forest and a lot of bikingroutes / possibilities.

PHILOSOPHY

We have one beautiful world, with a lot of beautiful nature / people / cultures. Let's share that world and take good care of it! Enjoy it!

We just recently signed up to share our couch!

Interests

Sailing, sports, active traveling, camping, meet other people and cultures, our two kids!

We both play some musical instruments.

During our traveling we love to be active: hiking, camping, scubadiving, .... and what ever is possible in the area we visit.
We also travel with out boat, within the Netherlands, Belgium / French coast, Channel Islands and Denmark. We always take our inline skates with us in such a holiday to see some more of the countryside.

Broad interest in movies, books and music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We loved traveling through New Zealand, Mexico, Canada, Thailand,.... We always just buy a planeticket and find our way around there ourselves. That way we've seen amazing nature, met great people.

We did all kind of crazy amazing things: skydiving, bungyjumping, scubadiving, abseilen, whalewatching.

And ofcourse for us sailing is special! Win a race, sail to beautiful places, see dolphins swimming, sail on a VO 70!!

We also worked / studied abroad. Which is a great way to really get to know the country and the people. Igor went to college in Boston and Hannelore did an internship in Auckland, New Zealand. We both worked on a summercamp in California twice.
